Edna Greenwalt-Baker (Age 90) Entered into rest on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in Odessa, WA. Her home was Odessa.
She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Odessa and was a member of the Odessa VFW Auxiliary. She was also a school bus driver.
Edna was a great cook and especially known for her delicious pies. She loved bird watching and tending to her garden and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Greenwalt and husband Carl Baker, two daughters Norrita Dahm and Geraldine Greenwalt and one son, William (Bill) Greenwalt as well as four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by three children: Marvin Greenwalt of Odessa, WA, Judith Greenwalt of Rosalia, WA and Sally Romo of Spokane, WA; two brothers: Laddie Hein of Shoreline, WA and Ed Hein of Bowling Green, KY; 19 grandchildren, 41 Great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren (with one on the way) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Odessa Cemetery with Pastor Tim Hauge officiating. Memorials may be made to the Odessa VFW Auxiliary or Odessa Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA is caring for the family.
