Arlis Allen, 80, of Cincinnati, formerly of Liberty, died Wednesday in Cincinnati. Born March 18, 1916, in Casey County, he was a son of the late B.F. and Marie Scott Allen.
He was the widower of Mary Ann Allen. Survivors include three daughters, Essie Luttrell and Rosetta Patton, both of Cincinnati, and Janet Burton of Hustonville; three sons, David
Allen of Hustonville, Clellie Allen of Cincinnati and Sam Allen of Waynesburg; two sisters, Gerdie Patton of Liberty and Flora Pennington of Jamestown, Ind.; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown by the Rev. Jack Carter. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday.
