Robert F. Abbott, age 95 of Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Providence, LaGrange. Son of the late Frank and Mary Ann (Harp) Abbott, he was a farmer and a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. He faithfully served his community by delivering for the Henry County Meals on Wheels. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Hester (Combs) Abbott; a son, Everett Eugene Abbott; sister, Lillian Hardin; brothers, Oscar Hoover Abbott & RC Abbott, and a grandson, Ebb Abbott, II.
