She was born Sept. 27, 1901, in Lavaca County to the late Lee and Ella Perry Fitzhenry. She was a homemaker and a member of Austin Street Baptist Church.
Survivors: stepdaughter, Evelyn Bigley of Corpus Christi; son, Dalton L. Rogers of Yoakum; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, E.N. Bailey; son, Charles Jurena; stepson, Clinton Bailey; sister, Margie Lampley; brothers, Oliver Fitzhenry and Roy Fitzhenry; and one grandchild.
Visitations were held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Buffington Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Brother John Fisher officiating.
Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum.
