Herbert "Herb" Berg, 92, of Rt. 3, Caneyville, died June 22, 1985 at Grayson Manor. / Mr. Berg was born May 12, 1894 in Minnesota, the son of Carl Ludwig Berg and Selma Peterson Berg. His wife, Decie Penner Berg, survives. / He was retired; a member of the Caneyville Masonic Lodge 635, where he served as Past Secretary for 28 years, also a member of the Caneyville Eastern Star OES 27. / Other survivors include: one daughter, Deloris Massey of Florida; four brothers, Oscar and Bill Berg of California, Arthur and Walter Berg of Canada; one sister, Nina Mason of California. Also surviving are two grandchildren Stacy and Shawn Massey. / Funeral services were held June 24 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Bill Teagarden officiating, burial in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
