Mr. Berry had lived in Jackson for the past year where he was employed as Security Guard for Pendleton Detective Agency. He was a Veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church.
Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Dorris Hemphill Berry, one sister; Mrs. J. R. Roberts, Magce; one half sister, Mrs. Lucille Wilson, Monticello, and one half brother, William (Buddie) Berry, of Monticello.
Funeral sevices will be held at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday from the Wright & Ferguson chapel, with the Rev. F. J. Davcy, pastor of the Capital City Church of God, and the Rev. Sidney Johnston, officiating. Interment will follow in the Strong River Baptist Church Cemetery, near Pinola in Simpson County.
