Obituary: James Lloyd Beams of Campbellsville, son of Dennis Beams and the late Rebecca Crawley Beams was born May 20, 1952 in Taylor Co KY. He died at 7:50pm Nov 21 2008 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Beams Body Shop and was a Taylor County school bus driver for many years. He was an extraordinary musician having played with several groups including the state champion Lincolnaires. He is survived by his father Dennis Beams; 1 brother and 1 sister, Roger Lee Beams and Ila Jean Webster of Campbellsville; 2 nieces Angela Porter and husband Brandon and Kristina Corbin and husband Justin, 1 nephew David Lee Webster, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece, Ty Justin Corbin, Lea M Corbin and Clay Corbin and a special friend, Patricia Young Pritchard of Campbellsville. He was preceded in death by his mother Rebecca Beams July 24,2008. Burial in Beams Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bobby Beams, Mark Beams, Harold Gribbins, Kenny French, Morris Judd, Brandon Porter, Paul Whitlock.
