Green River Sun Obituary Aug 5,2008: Rebecca Beams, daughter of the late Dennis W Crawley Sr and Ila Mae Hunt Crawley Graham, was born June 21, 1927 in Taylor County and died 1:15am July 24 in Campbellsville. Beams professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church where she played piano for many years. She was a seamstress, had taught piano and was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Dennis Beams on July 14,1951. Besides her husband, Dennis Beams, she is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter, James Lloyd Beams, Roger Lee Beams and Ila Jean Webster, all of Campbellsville; 3 grandchildren, Kristina M Corbin and husband Justin, David Lee Webster and Angela Webster all of Campbellsville; 3 great grandchildren, Ty Justin Corbin, Lea Corbin and Clay Corbin; 3 brothers and 1 sister JB Crawley, Elizabeth England and husband Herbert, Dennis W Crawley Jr and wife Laverna and Samuel L Crawley and wife Kaye all of Campbellsville. Burial in Beams Cemetery. Pallbearers: Timmy Crawley, Larry England, Kenny French, Wayne Sapp, Foster Sprowles, Paul Whitlock and Irwin Wright.
