Obituary: J.F. (Frank) Beams,90, of the Old Mac Community in Taylor County, died at 7:20pm Tuesday June 23,1981 at Metzmeier Nursing Home. He was a member of the Taylor's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer, mechanic and gunsmith. He united in marriage to Cannie Lile March 11,1914. Besides his wife Connie Lile Beams of Campbellsville, Star Route, he is survived by 1 son Dennis Beams of Campellsville, Route 3: 1 foster daughter Frances Lawson of Campbellsville; 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter: James Beams and Ila Jean Webster both of Campbellsville, Route 3 and Roger Lee Beams of Campbellsville, Star Route; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Burial was in the Beams cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Milby, Boyce Skaggs, Inman Sprowles, Lawrence Webster, Henry Webster, and Bill Webster.
