Mr. David M. Aldridge, age 89, of Macclenny, Florida died Wednesday, Nov. 5, in the V.A. Medical Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida in 1973. Mr. Aldridge served in the United States Navy as a tail gunner and served in WWII and the Korean War. He loved being outdoors doing yard work and tending to his flowers. Mr. Aldridge was also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Aldridge of Macclenny, Florida: Two daughters, Kristiana Starling (Dean) of Jacksonville, Florida and Mary Anice Hammer of Tampa, Florida: Four grandchildren, Braxton, Breeanna and Bayleigh Starling, all of Jacksonville, Florida and Michelle Pentifallo of Tampa, Florida: Two great grandchildren, Collin and Lauren Pentifallo of Tampa, Florida: One great- great grandchild, Aria Ortego of Tampa, Florida also survives. Graveside services with Rev. Dean Starling officiating will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, November 10 at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Florida.
