Bloomfield Ct - Antuane Darnell Allen, 36, of Bloomfield Ct, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 10, 2010 in Hartford Ct. Born in Hartford Ct on December 16, 1973, son of Joyce Amelia (Allen) Shell of Bloomfield Ct and the late Collis Lee Johnson, he was raised in Hartford and attended Hartford Public Schools and had lived in Windsor for a brief time before moving to Bloomfield three years ago. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, video games and listening to music. Most of all, Antuane will be remembered as a kind and loving son, grandson and brother who enjoyed being with his family. Besides his mother he leaves a son, Antuane Darnell Allen, Jr.; his paternal grandmother, Beatrice Johnson of Ocala, FL; two brothers, Collis Lee Johnson, Jr. and Duane Johnson (wife) Shevawn of all of Atlanta, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Besides his father he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Willie G. Allen, Sr. and Eartha N. Allen; his paternal grandfather, Albert Johnson Sr. Visitation for Mr. Allen will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday September 19, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the time of the service. The Home Going Service will be held at Mt. Calvary Missionary Church, On Monday September 20, 2010 Rev. Gillings, Pastor, officiating. There will be no viewing after the Eulogy. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens Cemetery
