COY BLAIR, JR., 83, of Mount Dora passed away Friday, August 7, 2009. Born in Bonny Blue, Virginia, he moved to Mount Dora from Jonesville, Virginia in 1961. He was a T. G. Lee milkman and was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He was of the Baptist faith and was a life member of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Kentucky and the Nolen Lodge #806 . He was preceded in death by his wife, Daphene E. Blair. Survivors include his daughters: Judy Pierce, Dianne Carver, Patty Hedegard, all of Eustis, FL; brother: Paul Blair, Franklin, OH; sister: Becky Hollar, Chiefland, FL; grandchildren: Chris Walters, Delana Brooks, Lisa Gallagher, Michael Hedegard, 7 Great great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Sodi. Funeral services were held August 11, 2009 at the Beyers Funeral Home, Umatilla with Reverend Brooks Braswell officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Beyers Funeral Home, Umatilla is in charge of arrangements.
