He was a son of the late George W. and Lillie Osborne Aaron. A local resident of 19 years, he was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He was retired from FAA Control Tower of the Columbia Metropolitan Airport after 18 years and was a charter member of Hidden Valley Country Club and Lutheran Church of the Transfiguration.
