COLUMBIA Henrietta Bizzell Domok Bennett passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012.

Henrietta was born in Norway, S.C. to the late Vera Dell and Zebulon Bizzell.

Henrietta married Julius Domok in 1942.

After ten years of marriage and only six weeks after the birth of their daughter, Patty, Henrietta became widowed. She began a new career working for Fine Arts Silver Company. In an era before bridal registries she became successful in helping many young women start and then complete their hope chests, selling fine china, sterling silver, crystal and cookware. She exceeded her own expectations and won numerous sales awards. In 1969 she wed James E. Bennett only to be widowed once again.

Henrietta enjoyed dancing and music and was a member of the Carolina Jazz Society for many years. She was a member of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church.

Henrietta is survived by her loving daughter, Patty Domok Mullins (Jim) of Columbia; her granddaughter, Tiffany Mullins Kohn (Mike) of Columbia; grandson, Dr. James Elliott Mullins (Stephanie Aeschliman) of Gunnison, Colo.; her adorable great-granddaughters, Reilly, Sophie and Avery Kohn. She is also survived by her brother, Harlan Bizzell of Savannah, Ga.

Henrietta was predeceased by her half sisters, Mary Gibson Durr, Lolita Gibson Boltin and half brothers, James and Paul Gibson.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, with burial at 1:30 p.m. in Norway Cemetery, Norway, S.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the staff and employees at Brian Center St. Andrews for the care and compassion they have shown to their loved one for the past four years. In addition, special thanks to Tri-County Hospice for being there the past several weeks to help with the care and support that has been needed during this transition.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
