Ms. Annie Mae Simmons Myers was born on February 5, 1925 to the late Ms. Anges Oliver and Mr. Money Simmons. She departed this earthly life on April 9, 2015.
Ms. Annie dedicated her life to caring for her children and the neighborhood children. She was a loving, caring person who always opened her doors to those in need of a place to live. She was a mother and grandmother to those she came in contact with.
Ms. Annie was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Clarence Myers, Sr.; one daughter, Priscilla Myers; three sons, Clarence Myers, Jr., Bennie Myers, and Johnny Myers; and two brothers, Johnny Simmons and Charles Miller.
Ms. Annie leaves to cherish her precious memories her son, Frank (Sharon) Myers of Columbia, SC; one daughter, Mary Ann Myers of the home; five grandsons, Kenneth (Amber) Caldwell, Derrick (Sylvia) Baker, Charon Darby, Antonio Young, and Donnell Burney all of Columbia, SC; two granddaughters, Marjorie Miller and Shiya Burney both of Columbia, SC, a special daughter-in-law, Ella Mae Myers Oldem of Columbia, SC; one niece, Serita Shaw of Edison, GA; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
