Mrs. Allison was a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Cook Brasington of Lake City and the late Cholton King Brasington.
She graduated from J. Paul Truluck High School, class of 1966 and the University of South Carolina, class of 1970. She enjoyed crafts and reading. She was a retired school teacher with Beech Hill Elementary School and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
She was the wife of 39 years to William Bill Allison and surviving, in addition to him, are one son, Brian C. Allison and wife Mandy of Summerville; one daughter, Elizabeth Lee Stair and husband Eric of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren, Zoe, Emily and Olivia Stair all of Mount Pleasant, Laura Allison of Summerville and one on the way; one brother, Cholton Reginald Brasington and wife Carol Hope of Lexington.
