JERSEYVILLE, May 15, 1941 - William August Biederman, 50, World War veteran, died at 3:15 a. m., today, at his home, four miles east of Jerseyville. Biederman was born Jan. 6, 1890, in Jersey county, a son of the late August and Lena Spear Biederman. Two brothers, Henry A., and Otto F. Biederman of Jerseyville, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Rand of Alton; Mrs. Fred Mowen, Kane, and Miss Lucille Biederman, Jerseyville, survive. The body Is at Jacoby funeral chapel where funeral rites will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. The Rev. Leonard Todd, pastor of Fieldon Evangelical Church, will officiate. Burial will be In Armstrong cemetery. Friends may call at the funder home after 10 a.m. Friday.
