Scripture: Psalm Chapter 40, Verses 1-3 & 5.
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord. Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; Were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.

Andreal LaVerne "Dray" Richardson was born May 5,1984 in Monroe, LA. She was the youngest of four children. Draybaby, as she was fondly known, received her formative education in the schools of East Carroll Parish. On September 1, 2011, Dray quietly went home to be with the Lord.

At the age of nine Dray accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and united with the Central Missionary Baptist Church #2 under the spiritual guidance of the late Reverend E.D.Handie, Sr. Dray had a fondness for children, it was evident by the love she showered on her godson, Kahlil Mackey(Smurf), whom she cared for since his birth. On March 18, 2006, Dray was blessed with her own son, Benjamin Richardson(BJ). He brought great joy to her life. On September 22, 2010, God blessed Dray with another healthy, bounding baby boy, who completed her joy, Timothy Isaiah Richardson. The final chapter of Dray's life exemplified unwavering faith, extraordinary courage, and unfailing determination. Dray constantly reminded us that she was not afraid and that God had this under control.

Her precious memories will always be cherished by: her devoted mother, Myrdice Gayle Richardson, Lake Providence,LA; her two sons, Benjamin and Timothy Isaiah Richardson; two sisters, DeAndrea(JaMika) and Kyla Richardson, both of Lake Providence, LA; brother, Jason(LaToya) Richardson, Garland, TX; aunts, Audrey Landers and Jean Bell of Lake Providence, LA; uncle, Roosevelt(Blanche)Richardson, Lake Providence, LA; nieces, Jayla, Trinitee, and Tee Tee's favorite niece, Nikya; nephews, Anfernee and Jahlil; godson, Kahlil; godparents, Squire and Debra Hobbs of Grand Prairie, TX; adoptive aunts, Ceretha Robinson, Norfolk, VA and Carolyn Tyler, Fort Worth, TX; a special friend, Ben Haley, Sr.; and a best friend LeKesha Newson.

We are saddened by our loss but we praise God for her eternal healing.
