Ms. Betty Marie (Mills) Evans, 68, of the Little Creek Community was received into Heaven Friday, August 19,2011. Services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, August 21,2011 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hawthorne Cemetery Little Creek.
She was born to the union of Woodrow Wilson and Ellie Bernice ( Lawrence) Mills on September 10,1942 in Little Creek Community.
Ms. Evans was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Winston Mills.
Those left to cherish her memory are her niece Dana Hailey and husband Mike of Little Creek, two nephews Damon Smith and wife Sherri of Trout and David and wife Rin of Urania. Her double first couisins, David Mills and wife Katie of Little Creek and Pam Mills Elliott and husband Dennis of Little Creek. Two step-grandchildren Matthew and Ethan Evans. Her great nieces and nephews, Lydia, Amber, Lynn, Jesse, Anna, Mary, and Kelli. Great-great-nieces and nephews, Madison, Abigail, Jeremy, and Conner.
Pallbearers are Damon Smith, Lynn Smith, Jesse Hailey, Hig Hailey, Andrew Tant, and Matthew Evans. Honorary pallbearers were the 30 year club of Justiss Oil Company.
