Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 7221 Plank Road, 1 to 6 p.m. Friday. Religious services at New Salem Baptist Church, 318 S. 13th Street, at 8 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. L.M. Warner Sr. Dismissal at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment at Ashland Cemetary, Wall.
Survived by wife, Mrs. Mamie Kelly McDuffie, Baton Rouge; two daughters,Shirley Fisher, Independence and Carolyn K. Jefferson, San Francisco, Calif.; three sons, Ernest, Leroy and George Kelly, all of Baton Rouge; a sister, Christine McDuffie, Birmingham, Ala.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was a member of King Solomon Masonic Lodge No. 7; member of Trustee Board; secretary of Brotherhood; and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be members of King Solomon Masonic Lodge No. 7.
