76, reached out and took Jesus by the hand to meet her beloved husband, Chess and son Jeff, Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:15 a.m. at her residence with her family and special caretaker, Alma Hicks.
She was a retired nurse and a member of Briarwood Baptist Church. She was a very caring and loving person towards her family and friends.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie (Karon) Breland of Pine, Cindy (Ricky) Branch of Farmerville, LA, Pam (Steve) Breland of Stateline and Dannette (Kenny) Boyet of Angie
Three sons and daughters-in-law: Randy (Donna) Adams of Thomas, Bryan (Kristi) Adams of Pine and Darian (Hilary) Adams of Baton Rouge
14 grandchildren: Crystal (Patrick) Lyons, Tessa Flynt, Angela (John) Gullatt, Krissy (Jason) Brunn, Aaron (Meredith) Branch, Adam (Shalon) Breland, Barrett (Jessica) Breland, Kendall Boyet (Chris Sanders), Chesley (Brianne) Boyet, Trenton Adams, Colby Adams, Brianna Adams, Destiny Adams and Maddie Adams

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chess Adams, son Jeff, two infant sons, parents Henry and Dovie Bedwell, sister Nell Crain and her in-laws Kinch and Veola Adams. Her loving spirit and open arms will be missed by her family, especially her grandchildren who loved their Maw-Lou.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton from 5 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday at Briarwood Baptist Church in Stateline from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Services will be conducted by Bro. Eric Williams, Bro. Richard Magee and Bro. Doyle Ball.
Interment will follow at the Rueben Adams Memorial Cemetery on Dollar Road. Her pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Aaron Branch, Adam Breland, Barrett Breland, Kendall Boyet, Chesley Boyet, Trenton Adams and Colby Adams. Great grandsons Johnathon Lyons, Cole Flynt, John Bailey Gullatt, Brooks Gullatt and Maddox Dunn.
