BRAINARD, Jane Blair, 87, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at SunBridge Nursing Home in Dublin, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Robert Brainard. She was a graduate of the University of Chicago, and was an elementary school teacher in Waukegan, Ill. She is survived by three sons, Robert Blair Brainard of Al Ayn, United Arab Emirates and wife, Mary, Blair Alan Brainard of Radford, Va. and wife, Madeline, and Lawrence John Brainard of Somerset, England; one daughter, Anne DeMartini of Modesto, Calif. and husband, Jim; one brother, William Blair of Carpenteria, Calif. and wife, Wendy; and nine grandchildren, Laura, David, Michael, John, Rabia, Alan, Benjamin, Noah, and Gabrielle. Funeral services were private. Arrangements by Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
