Anthony Ackerman of Carmel, NY died on October 29, 2006 at the age of 87. He was a practicing veterinarian who graduated from Cornell in 1941. He is survived by his son Frederick A. Ackerman and grandchildren Glenn Ackerman, Stacy Gizzo and Carrie Ackerman. His daughter Christine and Steven Reiser and grandpuppy "Otis". There are many nieces and nephews living on the east and west coast. Graveside Service will be held at 10 am on November 3, 2006 at Raymond Hill Cemetery.
