Gregoria Perez Sosa, 81, of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016.
The funeral liturgy will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Fr. Keith Hathaway officiant. Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Gregoria was born on May 12, 1935 in Rosebud, Texas to the late Victor and Estefana Perez. She was a longtime member of the Guadalupanas at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Gregoria was retired from Sprague Electric. She was a great mother who taught her children about the Lord. Gregoria was loved by everyone, and was always there for her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Camila Catano and Severiana Sanchez; and brothers Raymond Perez, and Willie Perez.
She is survived by husband Sacramento Sosa of Wichita Falls; sons Tommy Alonzo and wife Mary, and Mike Alonzo and wife Brenda of Wichita Falls; daughter Esther Gomez and husband Carlos of Wichita Falls; six stepchildren; grandchildren Christina Feldman, Christopher Alonzo, Michael Alonzo, Melissa Moore, Elaina Alonzo, Vanessa Alonzo, Esteven Alonzo, Nieves Molina, Junior Velma Molina, and Victoria Moreno; 22 great-grandchildren; her dear friend Socorro Delgado, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary and vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
