Mr. Plumley was born on August 24, 1948 in Gilmer Co. He is the son of the late Kiser Plumley and Mattie Patterson Plumley. He was a 1968 graduate of Gilmer High School, a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as an engineer. Mr. Plumley is also a U.S. Marine Veteran and a member of the Cherry Log Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Jimmy and Tony Plumley.
