Laura Barbara Adams, "Nana" Barbara Adams, 84, of Rancho Cucamonga, went home to be with the Lord on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2007 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on January 1, 1923 in Oxford, MA. Barbara devoted her life to serve all three generations of her family.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Mary and Daniel Young of Victorville, John and Charlotte Adams of Tustin, and Cheryl and David Skolnick of Rancho Cucamonga; her grandchildren: Kevin & Debbie, Kelli & Vance, Nicci, Candace, Rick & Margaret, Chelsea, Joshua, Sean, Devin, Ryan, Renanna, Corinne & Gerald, Colleen & Tina; her great grandchildren: Skylar, Christiana, Kenny, Sydnie, Tyler, Kyle, Anthony, Jasmine, Asante, Alyssa, Celina, Justin; her nieces and nephews: Jim & Barbara Sawyer, James & Donna Dalfino, and Billy & Sue Sitt; and an abundance of extended family and friends.

She is now reunited in heaven with her true love, husband, Major John C. Adams Jr., who passed away December 22, 1976 to whom she remained devoted for 65 years.

Nana, we will miss you and try to carry on your legacy of love. You truly were a "Proverbs 31" woman. See you soon!
