Mrs. Clovis Almand
Mrs. Clovis C. Bustin Almand, 87, of Hope, died April 18 in a local hospital. Born July 29, 1915, in Bodcaw, she was the daughter of Albert and Myrtha Sutton Bustin. She was a homemaker and a mother. She was a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester T. Almand and by one daughter, Jerry Vaughn.
Survivors include a son, C.T. Almand of Emory, Texas; a daughter, Mary Coffee of Hope; a son-in-law, Jim Vaughn of Hope; a brother, Dean Bustin of Louisiana; two sisters, Alice Carlton of Midland, Texas, and Glen Benefield of Haynesville, La.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jim Sayers officiating, with burial under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to the charity of one's choice.
