PONTOTOC - Janie Carolyn Anderson, 60, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Oct. 16, 1944, in Lee County to the late Robert and Annie Boyd Anderson. She was an LPN at the North Mississippi Medical Center until her failing health forced her retirement. She was a member of The Church of Acts in New Albany.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany with Bro. Charlie Ganey officiating. Burial will be in Vista Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sisters, Marie Jackson of Saulsbury, Tenn., and Louise Jones of Rockford, Ill.; a brother, Robert Anderson of Horn Lake; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Roy Anderson and R.B. Anderson.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
