James "Jim" Herbert Wayne Adams, beloved husband, father, son and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007, in Boulder, Colorado at age 63.

Jim was born to Norman and Lorraine Adams on September 3, 1943 in Bremerton, Washington.

Jim was a former member of the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge, a retired member of Local Union 100, Plumbers and Pipefitters, and he loved to play golf and fish.

Although Jim had a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, it did not deter him from doing many of the things he enjoyed in life.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Dinah Adams of Boulder, Colorado; children, Todd and Dawn Adams of Ferris, Texas, Stephanie and Paul Beck of Waxahachie, Texas, Jeffrey and Tori Adams of Georgia; stepchildren, Tom and Liz Patterson of Colorado, Kristie and Marc McCuthan of Colorado and Michael Patterson of Singapore; his wonderful grandchildren, Gregory, Elizabeth, Victoria and Christopher Adams, Carly and Cassidy MaGourik, Trevyn and Kaylyn Beck, and Seth and Addison McCutchan.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Sunday at the Red Oak Funeral Home.

The Celebration of his Life will be a graveside memorial service at 11 AM Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Red Oak Cemetery.

Jim will be buried next to his first wife, Linda Lou Adams.
