Franklin D. Anderson, 64, retired bus operator, died of a heart attack Monday at Rankin County Medical Center. Services are 11 a.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Pine Bluff Cemetery in Dentville. Visitation is 9:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was a Dentville native and had lived in Brandon for the past 24 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of Crossgates United Methodist Church, where he was active in the Men's Club. He was a retired bus operator with Trailways and Greyhound Bus Company.
Survivors include: wife, Margaret; daughter, Donna Wilson of Brandon; son, Brian Anderson of Russellville, Ala.; sister, Trixie Louise Parrett of Hazlehurst; brothers, Edwin Anderson and Billy Joe Anderson, both of Hazlehurst, Percy B. Anderson of Utica and Jimmy E. Anderson of Crystal Springs; and two grandchildren.
