Mrs. Ruth K. Alger, 604 Wiley Ave, died at 2:10 am today in Franklin Hospital. Born in East Brady Oct. 10, 1919, she was the daughter of Samuel F. and Maude Hile Delaney.

She had worked at Franklin Hospital.

She married Laverne E. Alger Nov. 4, 1930, in Costello, and he survives, with children, Richard E. Alger, Mercer RD 5, Mrs. Juanita L. Green, at home, and Paul K. Alger, at home; five grandchildren; a brother, Richard J. Delaney, Franklin RD 2; four sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Palm, Rockland, Mrs. Zada Hockman, Oil City, Mrs. Eileen E. Karns, Nickleville, and Mrs. Edward (Audrey) Shields, Cranberry. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Wilson and Mrs. Evelyn Kline.

Services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Burner Funeral Home with Rev. Kitchenberger officating. Interment will be in Cooperstown Cemetery.
