Pauline Hardee Bordeaux, passed away on October 29, 2011 at Southeastern Hospice House after an extended battle with cancer.

She was born on March 8, 1926.

Pauline lived most of her earlier life in Whiteville, NC. For 57 years she was married to James Garland Bordeaux and she served alongside of him as he was the pastor of several churches in North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Garland Bordeaux; and her parents, Conley Hardee and Miram Hardee.

Pauline is survived by two sons, Dr. C.J. Bordeaux (Donna) of Durham, NC and Darrell Bordeaux (Terri) of High Point, NC; her grandchildren: Jeremy Bordeaux, Jackson Bordeaux (Melissa), Leah, and Rebekah; two great grandsons, Cameron Bordeaux and Conley Bordeaux, III; her extended family and closest friends, Jimmy Green and Pam Green; and their daughters Kim, Tracey, and Jimmi-Lyn.

The funeral services will be held in the Floyd Memorial Chapel. The internment services will be held at Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family of Mrs. Bordeaux would like to graciously thank the staff and nurses of the Highland Acres Nursing and Rehab Center for their love and concern for Mrs. Bordeaux while she was a resident there. They would also like to thank the staff and nurses of the Community Home Care & Hospice for their professional and caring way and the Southeastern Hospice House for their tenderness and gentleness with her during her last hours.
