She was a beloved servant of the home of Oak Lawn Plantation where John Ayres & Cynthia Snow Ayres, lived, along with other members of Ayres family. Emiline was very dear, to the members of the family and according to stories when John and Cynthia passed on, she went to live with one of their daughters, Virginia Clementine Ayres White.We find Emiline in 1880 census of Centre, Attala County, Mississippi and after that she is not found. The year she died, we have no way of knowing, but hope one day to find out more about her. Family story is that she is buried very near to John & Cynthia.~~ this rock, marking the grave of Emiline is very close to the graves of John & Cynthia.
