William Walter Allen, 60, of Moscow, Tenn., died Feb. 23, 2007 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a Baptist, an employee with Pullman Mobile Homes and a Navy veteran.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Boswell Family Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Bro. Jim Perry officiated.
He leaves his wife, Vicky Allen; two sons, William Keith Allen, Robert Gordon Allen, both of Slayden; a step-son, James Allen Young of Moscow; three daughters, Jeanne Allen Carter of Slayden, Ginger Allen McCreless of Slayden, Jinny Frase Butler of Victoria; his mother, Katherine Allen of Slayden; a brother, Greg Allen of Slayden; a sister, Joyce Hataway of Slayden; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Cunningham, Henry Boswell, Calvin Stephenson, Dennis Smith, Bud Palmer, Dan Suroviak, Ed Pulliam, Tommy Gammons, Billy Bing and Wayne Jones.
