Henry Adler was born in Toluca, Illinois. He was the son of Johann Georg Adler and Anna Maria Bauer, immigrants from Kolb, Russia. Henry married Frieda Scheierman 30 Dec 1920 at Sutton, Nebraska. Six children were born to this marriage: Edward Henry, Laurene C., Luella L., Betty D., Alvin Lee, and Frieda Mae Adler.
