Billy D. Adams vice-president of marketing for Sperry Corp., died Thursday at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. A native of Hitchcock, Okla. Mr. Adams moved to Arizona 20 years ago from New York. He worked for Sperry Corp. for 31 years. Mr. Adams was active in the Little League and founded the program in Scottsdale. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors included his wife JoAnn of Scottsdale; two sons Stephen E. and Michael J.; two daughters Deborah M. and Cheryl D.; and two sisters, Nina L. Nigh and Sheila R. Nigh. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Messinger Mortuary, 7602 E. Indian School Road. A Scripture service will be held at 7:p.m. at Messinger Mortuary. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 6261 N. Granite Reef Road. Internment will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Health Care Ministries in care of Cindy Weider, 6261 N.
