Lorene Adams of Little Rock, AR, died Friday, August 20, 2004 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. The daughter of Charles and Maude (Allison) Adams, she was born September 9, 1922 in Amarillo, TX.
She retired from Arkansas Employment Security Division after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Little Rock for 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two sisters, Marjorie Ross, Hector, Wanda Gammel and husband Jesse, Hector; one brother, Robert E. Adams and wife Polly, Little Rock; two nephews, Charles Adams, Little Rock, Elwin Gammel, Hector; three nieces, Debby Adams, Fort Worth, Rebecca Adams, Little Rock, Norma Reichardt, Little Rock.
Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Marty Brown, Pastor of Markham Street Baptist Church in Little Rock will officiate.
Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery at Hector, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home.
