Chloe Rene Baker, 67, of Springdale died June 19, 1995, at the Northwest Medical Center. She was born Feb. 29, 1928, at Kingston, the daughter of Richard L. "Bird" and Alice Tucker Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Baker of the home, to whom she was married Dec. 5, 1986; one daughter, Jetta Cook of Springdale; one son, Roy Lee Strode of Springdale; one brother, Roy Dalton Phillips of Springdale; two sisters, Pearl Rhodes and Sarah Eula Dean Nester, both of Springdale; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, at the Sisco Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial was in Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers were Jackie Bowen, Jimmy Smith, John Arvil Reynolds, Don Day, Dan Day, and Johnny Falkner. Honorary pallbearers were Lue McGowan and L.O. Day.
