Mrs. Enoch, 85 years old, was born in Smith County, Tennessee, August 26, 1843. In 1860 she was married to Benjamin A. Enoch, who served for three years in the Union army during the Civil War.
In 1872, with five of their children, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch came to Kentucky in a covered wagon. They were the parents of twelve children, ten of whom are living. They are Mrs. L.N. Sisco, of Marion; Mrs. Nannie Hodges, of Colorado; W.B. Enoch, of Kansas; Mrs. Betty Jones, of Brownfield, Ill.; Mrs. John Walker, of Sikeston, Mo.; Mrs. Bennett Walker, of Sikestown, Mo; Mrs. W.W. Rice, of Marion; T.A., J.W. and R.H. Enoch, all of Marion. Mr. Enoch died in June 1911.
Mrs. Enoch has 65 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
