Edward "Ed" Buckley Brown, Jr. of Bella Vista, AR passed away November 2, 2015 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born August 29, 1946 to Ed and Louise Brown in Memphis. He graduated from Southside High School, Memphis in 1964, attended Northwest Mississippi Junior College and completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the University of Memphis. He taught in the Memphis and Shelby County Schools and was Director of Student Services at State Technical Institute (now Southwest Tennessee Community College) in Memphis. Before relocating to Arkansas, he and his family belonged to Collierville Bible Church in Collierville. He and his wife, Christe Ford Brown, relocated to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 2005. He leaves his wife of more than 47 years, Christe Ford Brown; his daughter, Elaine Brown Crutchfield and her husband J. David Crutchfield; his daughter, Jenny Brown; and three grandchildren, Megan, Molly and Eli Crutchfield all of Bella Vista. He is predeceased by his father, Edward B. Brown, Sr.; and leaves his mother, Louise Lassiter Brown of Collierville; as well as two sisters, Dena Brown Marshall and her husband, Charles Marshall of Bartlett; and Mary Nell Brown Murphy and her husband, Luther Murphy of Collierville and two nephews, two nieces and their families. He dedicated his life to God, his family and teaching. The Funeral service was held in the Lodge of Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, Arkansas, the family's home church. Interment was in Dug Hill Cemetery in Bella Vista, Arkansas. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am tomorrow, Saturday November 7 at Collierville Bible Church, 806 Wolf River Blvd in Collierville. Memorials are suggested to Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
