"Funeral Services for Charles Harris of St. Louis, Mo., was held at the Dodson cemetery Sunday, Sept. 11, conducted by Rev. I. N. Dodson, supply pastor of the Baptist Church at Bentonville. Charles Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Harris, was born at Wagoner, Okla., April 20, 1905, and passed away at St. Louis, Mo., March 17, 1934, where he was stationed at Jefferson Barracks. He was a member of Co. A 6th Inf. The body had been deposing in the Mausoleum in Bentonville awaiting his mother's arrival to superintend the final burial of her son in the family burying grounds. Surviving him is his wife Mrs. Mary Harris of St. Louis, Mo., his mother Mrs. Stella Harris of Belen, N. Mexico, and sisters, Mrs. Freeman Williams of Sapulpa, Okla., Mrs. John Carr of Tulsa and Mrs. Fay Stevens, Pontiacs, Mich.
