Lillian Benedix of International Falls, Minnesota died Wednesday, April 18th, 2007 at the Falls Memorial Hospital.
Lillian was born November 13th, 1928 in Roseau, Minnesota.
Formerly Lillian Grace Thompson, she was united in marriage to Paul Benedix.
Lillian was known for her beautiful flower gardens. Her flowers and fishing were her passion in life. Her huge sinkers, always at the end of her fishing rod, were her trademark, and "always talk to your flowers when you water them" she would lovingly tell us all. She loved her walks and nature and being surrounded by it all was truly who she was.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul. Son, Lee Benedix, Brother Marvin Thompson and good friend Cal Skoein.
Lillian is survived by her sons; Dan (Cyndie) Benedix of the Falls, Gary Benedix of the Falls, Owen (Faith) Benedix of Bemidji, Mn and Rex (Cheryl) Benedix of Fairbanks, Alaska. Daughters; Linda (Albert) Knudson of Procter, Mn. and Paulette (Bernie) Ziemba of Littlefork, Minnesota. 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers; Loyd, Ed, and Chester Thompson and sisters Dorothy Sigurdson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21st, 2007 at the Full Gospel Fellowship church, 1530 6th Ave. West in International Falls at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the Ericsburg Cemetery following service.
Memorials would be preferred to Kooch. Hospice, Inc.
