Andres (Candelario) Candelino (#226) was an inmate at the Arizona Territorial Prison in Yuma before 1912 (statehood). He died of consumption while serving his term.
He is buried in the grave yard at the Arizona Territorial Prison. The graves are not marked, just rock mounds in neat rows.
Apparently, 111 convicts people died here while serving their prison sentence. They died of disease, murder, suicide, and in the attempt to escape. There were 3,069 convicts total; 104 are buried on site.
