SPEARMAN, Jan. 8 - Funeral services for Mrs. Gertie Blanton, 67, longtime resident of the Spearman area, were scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church here.

The Rev. Luther M. Berry, pastor, was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. Wayne Burt, pastor of the Morse Baptist Church. Burial was to be in Lieb Cemetery at Morse under the direction of Boxwells of Spearman.

Mrs. Blanton died at 11:45 p.m. Friday in the Scott and White Hospital in Temple where she had been a patient for five weeks.

She made her home 20 miles southwest of Spearman. She was born March 28, 1894 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spearman.

Survivors include her husband T.A. Blanton of Stinnett; three sons, W.A. Blanton of Richland, Wash., Forest W. Blanton of Hazelwood, Mo., and Herman Blanton of Stinnett, and four grandchildren.
