THE PARIS NEWS, 2 Jan 1952. 'Weldon Glenn Bailey, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.H. Bailey, formerly of Blossom died at home in Texarkana, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The funeral was arranged for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Nazarene Church at Blossom, with interment in Knights of Honor Cemetery there by Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Luther had charge of the service. Surviving besides the parents and a brother, Stanley Bailey, are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Bailey, Rt.2, Detroit, and Mr. and Mrs. B.M. Cole, Blossom.
THE DETROIT NEWS-HERALD, 3 Jan 1952 from microfilm in Clarksville Library: 'Weldon G. Bailey, 15, a son of Mr. & Mrs. F. H. Bailey, formerly of Blossom, died at Texarkana, where the family moved Thanksviving, Tuesday at 3 p.m. following a month's illness. The body was returned to Blossom where funeral services were conducted by Rev. Kenneth Luther at the Nazarene Church. He was a nephew of Mrs. Prudence Stringer of Detroit. Surviving besides his parents and a brother, Stanley Bailey, are the grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. L. M. Bailey, Rt 3 Detroit, and Mr. & Mrs. B. M. Cole of Blossom.
