SALINA --- Oral Thaine Anspaugh, 75, Salina, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at a Salina nursing home.

Mr. Anspaugh was a farmer and stockman in Ness County for many years.

He was born May 4, 1924, in Ransom, the son of George and Elma Anspaugh. He was a lifelong resident of Ness City before he moved to Salina in January 1997.

He married Shirley Arlene Betz. She preceded him in death in September 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Rory Anspaugh, Salina, and Randy Anspaugh, Topeka; a daughter, Nikki Currie, Gypsum; a sister, Letty Foos, Ness City; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City. Burial will be in the Ness City Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Ness City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
