Abner W. Agle Dies, Was Aged Resident of Town
Abner Wilson Agle, son of the late Jacob and Regina Agle, died at his home at 439 East King Street last Tuesday afternoon of complications of age. He was born and reared in Shippensburg.
He was seventy-eight years of age, a retired plasterer and had been in ill health for approximately six years. He was a member of the local Methodist church, Red Men, and the Vigilant Hose company. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary G. Baughman Agle, he is survived by four children, B.C. Agle, of Progress; Mrs. E.R. Nancy Bush, of Palmyra, N.Y.; Mrs. Carl Shoap of Harrisburg, and Mrs. C.K. Harlacher of Steelton.
Funeral services will be held today, Friday, at 2:00 o'clock from the home, conducted by Rev. W.A. Graham. Internment will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
