Alfred J. Adams
Alfred J. Adams, age 82, of Creekside, Pa., formerly of Erie, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 as the result of a tractor accident. He was born in Erie on April 23, 1930, son of the late Roy and Marie Adams.
Al was employed at Ridge Rac for over 25 years, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, music, dancing, time in the country, cutting grass with his brush hog and activities with his family. Everyone enjoyed his sense of humor.
Al is survived by two daughters, Carol Tincher (Bob) of Erie and Donna Blystone (Larry) of Creekside, Pa.; one son, Gary Adams of Girardville, Pa.; one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Prue (Gordon) of Mansfield, Tenn.; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, William and Daniel Adams.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to a Funeral Service there on Tuesday at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Harold Blair.
Interment, Lakeside Cemetery.
