Mollie E. (McConnell) Albert, 97, of Effort, died Monday, April 14, in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late Henri Albert. Born in Steubenville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James and Emma (Henthorn) McConnell.
She was born into a strong Irish background and even at the age of almost 98, she still had the most beautiful blue eyes.
She is survived by two sons, Henri Albert of Wintersville, Ohio, and James Albert of Effort; three daughters, Mildred Schmidt of East Stroudsburg, Authurine Rank of Stanhope, N.J., and Carole Malone of Allentown; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
