Estella Elizabeth Chilcote, 74, of 807 DeForrest Apts., Huntingdon, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 1984 at her home.
She was born June 27, 1910 in Todd Township, Huntingdon County, the daughter of Bert and Ella (Boyer) Goss. She was united in marriage to Walter C. Chilcote on June 30, 1926 and he preceded her in death December 4, 1977.
She is survived by four children, Mrs. Gilbert (Gladys) Endres of Calvin, Mrs. Richard (Dolores) Hughes of Kent, Ohio, Mrs. Obrey (Ella Bernyce) Hamman of Shirleysburg R.D. 1 and Walter W. of Huntingdon R.D. 3; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One son and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
A sister, Mrs. Mable Beatty of North Bloomfield, Ohio, also survives. Two sisters preceded in death.
Mrs. Chilcote was a member of Bowman's Chapel United Methodist Church, Mapleton R.D. She did volunteer work at the Huntingdon County Nursing Home and was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She was a housewife and at one time was employed as a seamstress for L. Greif sewing factory in Mount Union.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12 at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home in Cassville, the Rev. Ashley Horner officiating. Interment will be made in Bowman's Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
